gawdamm. just how is this possible? could someone with the knowledge explain, for example at 4.22 the patches in the road, and the chalk drawings...did a VFX person have to design each one, or is there some kind of scanning + procedural generative process?

Lighting is what makes a difference here and it's quite good but still, a little bit too neutral compared to day light and lacking atmospheric feeling. Also modular set dressing using unique texture sets leads to repetition and distracts from realism saddly. Use generic world aligned materials instead when possible. Not there yet but interesting ;)

I adjusted the brightness and contrast sliders on the ps4 version of this game and it looker like this at 20fps. Went to a friends house and his ps5 had settings that made the game look WAY worse but it was 60fps which was refreshing. It truly hurt this game refusing to give weapons ammunition based damage, and giving enemies "borderlands" style difficulty with high health bars instead of real difficulty based on aim accuracy sliders. It makes sense that most enemies wouldnt be very accurate with guns, they wouldnt be skilled or go to a shooting range with proper advice.

Somehow this is more graphically impressive and at the same time it has greater visual clarity than then base game. I love it.

I don't know how you do this but even in my cheap HDR monitor your game looking really nice when I enabled HDR in Windows. I'm curious what HDR experience could be if I have OLED monitor... anyway thanks for sharing your amazing HDR quality videos with us :)

The NPCs and the protagonist's hands on the steering wheel are the only things in this demo that ruin the realism. They look so glaringly out of place and fake compared to everything else.

Preem looks! What software you use to record HDR? I have a hard time recording HDR mode with my Radeon software recorder, haven't figured out why it makes everything saturated and not what I see in game. Do you use any video editing retouch after?
